Destiny is the seventh episode of The Real Ghostbusters IV, and could be considered season 7, episode 11 of the actual show. Carlos, a paperboy, is tasked to summon ghosts so they can be bodyguards for a wizard. However, Slimer is there to stop them.

Summary[]

Turns out that the uniforms that Peter threw away in Non Sequitur were stolen by a paperboy before garbage day. His name was Marcos, and he was about 13. Being all done with work, he thought It would be cool to keep them as memorabilia.

Meanwhile, Egon is testing Slimer, to see if his protection shield worked. It was called the Slimer Shield, and it has a flashlight, a tracking system, and the ability for Slimer to not get trapped if he goes along in journeys. It seems to be working. Winston is impressed. Peter talks to Ray about a story he remembered. It was about the time when he was a kid when he stood up for a girl getting bullied by fighting the bully physically and mentally. Ray gets confused, as the two are polar opposites.

Later, a weird, old guy sees Marcos with the uniforms and asks to pay money for them. Marcos says no, because he's a kid, so the guy doesn't buy it. However, he does say that he will be at his house at midnight, and he has to answer it, or he'll answer it himself. Marcos doesn't but it.

Later in the night, which is dark and stormy, the man picklocks the doors to Marcos' apartment and goes into his room. He wakes him up and introduces himself as Wolfgang, and tells him to follow him or else he'll be cursed.

So Wolfgang, Marcos, and the Ghostbusters' uniforms are in a circle. Wolfgang says a spell, and something happens. The uniforms float in the air and come to life, with the faces of the Ghostbusters. Wolfgang says those guys are his bodyguards, but they leave without him.

In the firehouse, Slimer wakes up in the middle of nowhere and sees a glowing green entity looking at the Slimer shield. It looked like Egon, but Slimer immediately knew it wasn't Egon when he tries to break the shield. It was Spectral Egon, from the Spectral Ghostbusters! He calls on his teammates to bust and trap Slimer before he gets the shield, and they do.

The next day, the Ghostbusters find out that Slimer's missing, and they think that Ghash took him. But Ghash was still in the containment unit. Then they thought one of the ghosts from the episodes before took him, but they were all trapped and put back in the containment unit as well.
